This week back in 1995, we were brought a movie that was based on a Stephen King short... The Mangler.
The film was directed by Tobe Hooper, and starred Robert Englund, Ted Levine, Daniel Matmor and Vanessa Pike. It is all about a possessed laundry press machine, which is crazy and hilarious!
This felt very 80s trash for a film from '95. It had great gore and practical effects. The story started and ended very good, but it was let down in the middle where it got a little uninteresting. The acting felt so over the top, but it kind of matched up with the crazy storyline and cheesiness of the whole film.
If you're a fan of 80s gore and trash, then you might like this one.
