Throwback Thursdaaaaaay: Vivarium (2020)

This week, we are only going back 4 years, to 2020, when a trippy little film called 'Vivarium' was released.

I had seen this on many people's 'must watch' lists, but only recently got around to watching it myself. I honestly do not really know what I watched! It has a really small cast, with our main couple being played by Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots. We follow them as they go to view their first house, and they never get to leave.

The set designs are really bizarre, but great. Alot of it almost looks like painted sets. It's so weird. Both actors are brilliant, and the little kid is so annoying (purposefully), but the voice that comes out of him was hilarious!

Honestly, I really have no idea what was happening, or really what the message behind it all was. I can see that it was a good and well made film, but it just really wasn't for me, and I am unlikely to watch it again. But I certainly wouldn't tell anyone not to watch it, because it's one you need to experience and decide for yourself!
