This week back in 1974, a film that would become a horror classic and bring us one of the best, and scariest horror villains was premiered in Austin, Texas. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
We follow a group of young teens on a road trip to their grandfather's house, but along the way they come across a crazy family who torments them. To put it mildly!
Now admittedly, this has never been a favourite of mine, but I get why it has such a following. It was never one I watched alot, not like your other 'classics', in fact I have only ever seen it maybe 3 times. On a more recent watch, I certainly had more of an appreciation for it. The performances, the scenery and cinematography are all very well done.
Leatherface, this huge guy with his mask made of human flesh and weilding a chainsaw is just purely terrifying! Can you imagine how horrific it would be being chased by him?! Gunnar Hansen did an amazing job playing the horror icon.
I'm sure you have all already seen this one, but it is an absolute must-watch for any horror fan.
