Suddenly I Don't Hate Valentine's Day as Much ...

Journey is only sleeping like a baby because he doesn't know about the INSANITY in this book!!

GOOD-BYE, VALENTINE is my first (but far from last) read from River Gardner. This extreme horror was nominated for a Golden Scoop back in June, so I was excited to get my hands on a physical copy from this freaking gem of a human being. I went to their table at TBR Con with the intent to introduce myself, pass out stickers, and get a copy of this book, and thirty minutes later I had only accomplished one of those things, but we knew all about each other's pets.🤣😂

A fair number of us have had the misfortune of experiencing betrayal from those we trust the most, and River puts such an excellent twist on that feeling. You relive that heartbreak through Mel, and then for any of you who have wondered what it would be like if you snapped ... River has the answer.

At a point when Mel feels like things can't get worse, she has another traumatizing experience completely unrelated to her current emotional state, and the two people who hurt her the most are about to discover what a horrible mistake they made.

This story puts the X in extreme, ranging from spicy content, to gore that would make the most bloodthirsty villain proud, and then the two combined.
