This week we are heading back to 1987 when House 2: The Second Story was released. This movie is a standalone sequel, so we return to the same House, but have all new characters and a whole new story. Admittedly I wasn't much a fan of the first movie, and this one was no better. If anything, it seemed less 'horror' than the first. I think they were going for more comedy, but it all fell flat for me.
This film stars Arye Gross (the only person I recognised), Lar Park Lincoln, Bill Maher and Royal Dano as zombie Gramps. Oh, and apparently Kane Hodder makes an appearance as the Gorilla!
The story centres around a crystal skull and time travel. The house has portals to different time periods. There was some fun stop motion animation and puppetry, but for me it's not one that's worth watching and I'm really not sure how it can be classed as horror.
