This week back in 2008, a great British horror movie was released. You've no doubt heard of it, even if you have not yet seen it yet: Eden Lake.
We follow loved up couple, Jenny and Steve, as they go off to the English countryside for a romantic getaway. However, their holiday is soon ruined by a group of young, rowdy teenagers and their psycho 'leader'.
This film stars Kelly Reilly and Michael Fassnender as our couple, and some of the yobs are played by Jack O'Connell, Finn Atkins and Thomas Turgoose who you may recognise if you watch much British tv or film. The acting all around is just brilliant, especially from the kids.
This film is brutal and is a truly scary situation that you can (sadly) imagine happening in real life, with a harrowing ending. If you can handle your horror bleak and bloody, then I'd suggest watching this one!
